Political and legal views of Niklas Luhmann

This paper is devoted to the study of N. Luhmann's ideas of the nature of legal and political phenomena. Theoretical provisions developed by the researcher represent noteworthy versions of modern sociological type of legal consciousness. The authors review the central issues of the concept: how the law separates itself from other subsystems of society; power as the centre of system relations; the problem of correlation between law and policy.
