In this particular article, the author is trying to prove the significance of the decline in the prestige of political science in the Russian Federation as a scientific and academic discipline, which is mostly due to its extremely complex integrative aspects and the role that is assigned to it by society. While studying power as a central category of politics, political science inevitably goes to the analysis of the participants of political process and their interests. However, in such rigid struggle they do not need an objective public analysis of them and their activities. Therefore, political science becomes an element of ideology, and as a resource of power, and turns it into a necessary appendage of the method of political persuasion. Such transitivity leads to an impasse of independent analysis of the political sphere of society, and with it the construction of a so-called nationally demanded moral society.
