The Polyanka hoards (epilogue)

Based on the earlier publications and archival materials, this paper re-examines the history of discovering ‘hoards’ at the Polyanka site in Crimean Pryazovia (1984 and 1985), clarifies their number (three hoards), specifies the number of coins in each hoard and the chronology (soon after 44-42 BC), findspot, hypothetical causes and other circumstances explaining why these hoards were buried.
