The polarization of socio-economic space of Russia and how to counteract

This article discusses the polarization of regions of Russia, primarily agricultural-oriented, economic and demographic parameters. The factors affecting the agri-food complex and determining the development potential of agricultural territories are analyzed. Clustering of regions is based on such indicators as: investments, profitability of agricultural production and the efficiency of the structure in different types of farms. The solution of the problem of regions differentiation on the basis of improving regional investment climate is proposed.
