The description of the polarization Bremsstrahlung effect of a quasi-classical electron on a multi-charged ion is generalized to the case of a laser pulse. Expressions are derived for the energy absorbed by the electron during the process via the polarization and ordinary channels. The ratio of these energies is analyzed depending on the laser pulse parameters: duration, carrier frequency, and amplitude.
