Catholics in the Elizabethan religious legislation in the Russian historian's researches

The article discusses Russian historiography dedicated to the study of the Reformation in England during the reign of Elizabeth Tudor. The author’s position on the study of religious legislation affecting the rights of subjects of the Catholic religion is mainly analyzed. The author of the article concludes that most researchers adhere to the same positions, they emphasize the importance of reforms from different sides, and the main provisions of legislative acts are directly investigated or touched.
