The Position of the Trade Union of Machine Builders and Instrument Makers in 1995-1996, Following the Results of the Privatization of Enterprises in the Voronezh Region

The article discusses the process of unification of the trade union of machine builders and the trade union of instrument makers. The numerical composition of the workers of the trade union and its enterprises in 1995-1996 is analyzed. The procedure for the formation of trade union management bodies is also considered. The socio-economic situation of enterprises in the machine-building industry has been studied. The main reasons for the reduction in the number of trade union members are considered, the consequences of the plight of workers are indicated.
