Obtaining an effective road pavement by applying carbon nanomodifiers of bitumen

The positive experience of using carbon nanomodifiers in the manufacture of road asphalt concrete with improved performance properties is known. This article discusses the choice and manufacturing technology of nanomodified bitumen for the further production of asphalt-concrete mixtures based on them. The results of approbation of nanoadditives during the reconstruction of the P258 Baikal Irkutsk-Ulan-Ude-Chita highway are presented. It is established that the use of nanomodified bitumen allows obtaining asphalt-concrete coating with an increase in strength characteristics by 20-40% and the water resistance index to the maximum value.
