In the paper the adaptation of the laser ablation technique for gold nanoparticles in liquid nitrogen was conduct. The developed method allows to obtain colloidal gold nanoparticles with a strong absorption peak at 280 nm associated with the interband transitions. It is shown that the energy density at the sample surface by laser ablation in liquid nitrogen may have subsequent impact on the optical properties of colloidal gold nanoparticles at 280 nm placed in ethanol.
