Isolation of interspecific hybrids in Capsicum L. S-plasmotype with use embryo culture in vitrо

The authors made the interspecific reciprocal crossings between four wild species of pepper (Capsicum). With the use of embryo culture in vitro the sterile interspecific hybrids C.frutescens × C. chinense were obtained. The authors analyzed the cytological aberrations in gametes development in all five F1 hybrids on stages of development of microspores and pollen. By the method of PCR and primers, permitting to amplify SCAR-markers of CMS, these markers were identified in variant of C. frutescens, which was used as mother's component during crossing with C. chinense, and also all five plants of F1 sterile hybrids.
