Obtaining explanation as procedural action and as proof in criminal case

The article, taking into account the changes made to Art. 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation, considers the possibility of use in proof in criminal cases of the explanations received within verification of the reported crimes. The author also describes some other consequences of the introduction of the right to explanations to the Criminal Procedure Code.
