Compulsory placement of juvenile offenders into specialized institutions: problems of law enforcement and lawmaking

The article considers the issue of placement into temporary detention centers of internal affairs bodies for juvenile delinquents in correlation with such a compulsory measure as placement into special educational institutions of closed type. The legal basis determining the procedural order for placing minors into these institutions is analyzed, difficulties arising in law enforcement activities and prospects for improving the current legislation in the field of legal relations under consideration are presented.
