Understanding of the subject of law in the classical legal paradigm

The article examines the problem of understanding the subject of law from the point of view of the classical legal paradigm in modern Russian legal science, the subject of law is defined, the main problems of the classical methodology emerging during its study are revealed. It is concluded that the modern classical interpretation of the subject of law in which the subject of law is considered as a result of state activity was developed within the framework of a positivist understanding of law.
