Based on the concept of Aristotle’s natural justice that is an integral part of natural law, according to the author, it is attempted to reveal the opportunities of extending the essential categories of natural law to positive law with the application of logic and system analysis. For this purpose, the author addresses Aristotle's works which contain his early ethical understanding of law and justice. The study concludes that the main challenge in combining natural and positive law is to make the feature of natural justice multifunctional without making a legal mistake. The latter universalizes an action destroying its peculiarity. The key solution to this problem is the concept of the Aristotelian epikeia.
