Introduction: the scientific paper aims to formulate the concept and specifics of civil liability of internal affairs bodies arising from harm caused as a result of the performance of official duties, in accordance with the norms of the current legislation of the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic. The relevance of this topic is mediated both by the significance of the problem raised and by the need for a comparative analysis of the legislation of the two countries to identify positive and negative trends in the legal regulation of harm compensation by law enforcement agencies.
