The concept of civic identity and patriotism

In modern conditions, the question of a person's belonging to the state arises more than ever. In Russia, the study of the formation and development of civic identity and patriotism is being intensified, since their level among the population is still low. Russia faces the task of educating a socially and politically active citizen who identifies with his country, represents state and public interests, and experiences mainly positive emotions and feelings for his territory and his people, such as: patriotism, love, protection, pride, courage, help, honesty, morality and others.
