The concept and algorithm of machine translation systems

Machine translation has recently been at the center of public attention due to modern advances in artificial intelligence technologies. This article explores the concept of “machine translation” from the perspective of its historical origins and its use in the present day. The main translation mechanisms by machine systems are discussed. Conclusions are drawn regarding the advantages and disadvantages of using machine translation systems.
