The concept and grounds for limiting the legal capacity of a citizen

The article is devoted to the issues of legal capacity in civil law: theoretical aspects are revealed, a civil legal characteristic is given. The civil legal capacity of a person is one of the main categories of civil law, the study of which must be carried out taking into account the possibility of its limitation. Restriction of the legal capacity of citizens is a civil sanction established for the abuse by a citizen of the right to dispose of his own income due to alcohol, drug or gambling addiction. An important theoretical and practical issue is the limitation of the legal capacity of citizens in order to protect their legitimate interests.
