Definition and legal nature of the barriers of implementation of the Industry 4.0 components in an industrial region

The subject of the study was the existing mechanisms of lawmaking and law enforcement, as well as the identification of legal barriers to the implementation of Industry 4.0 components in order to find the best ways to overcome them. This article is an application of the normative research method and conceptual approach by studying the legal concept and theory, supplemented by the statutory approach, in order to analyze the legal norms associated with this research. As a result of the study, the authors identified the key legal barriers to the creation and implementation of digital industry components (Industry 4.0), and also identified possible legal instruments (PPP, special and special economic zones and regulatory sandboxes) aimed at improving legislation in the field of digital technologies creation, attracting investments, implementation of Industry 4.0 components in industrial regions.
