The concept and essence of municipal policy in the field of physical education and sports

The article proposes a definition of municipal sports policy in conjunction with its main components and features in comparison with sports policy at the state level. It is shown that the municipal sports policy should not only ensure the development of sports infrastructure and support organizations offering services in the field of sports, but also ensure the involvement of local residents in regular physical education. The necessity of developing a municipal sports policy in the interconnection of managing the involvement of local residents in sports and directly creating the conditions for satisfying requests in the field of physical education is substantiated.
