Notion of collection activity

In practice, debt collection agency is an organization which activity is aimed at the actions directed to return of the overdue debts. But no regulatory legal act of the Russian Federation contains such a definition. The several authors’ approaches to the definition of the debt collecting activity and the definitions suggested in different draft laws are considered in the article.
