The concept of medical secrecy in legislation and scientific doctrine

This article is devoted to the consideration of one of the relevant categories of medical ethics and deontology - “medical secrecy”. This concept is enshrined in law, but it is not entirely correct and correct. To this end, the author analyzes the points of view of various researchers. The concepts of “secret”, “medical secret”, “medical secret”, “information”, “data”, “information” are analyzed in the article. The current concepts regarding the “information” category are disclosed and analyzed. The author has deduced and described the characteristic features of the category “secret” and proposes an introduction to the legislation of the category “secret”. The article considers the correlation of the categories “secret” and “information”. In conclusion of the article, the author proposes his own definition of the category “medical secret”.
