The article studies the legislation on the low-rise residential development. The author has performed a comparative analysis of the legal status of an apartment building and a single real estate complex and proposes to introduce a new term "a low-rise apartment complex" and a text regarding it into the Article 133.2 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.
