The concept of a suburb (a suburban area) in the system of municipal relations

The article deals with the geographical and legal characteristics of the suburb (suburban area) as a constituent part of the city. The author believes that it is not right that there is no such a concept in the federal municipal legislation, considering the fact that there are actually suburbs in the general urban planning. The author substantiates an original proposal to define the suburb (suburban area) in the context of the municipal legal relations.
