The concept, content and functions of probation

The criminal law doctrine today does not have a sufficient amount of studied issues that determine the legal nature of probation. This article reflects the author's position on the stages of formation and development of the institution of probation in Russia, as well as the problems of the correlation of probation with the rules for imposing criminal punishment.
