Concept, essence and the content industry and the economic structure of the region

Consideration of the branch structure of the economic system is fundamental to the study of the regional economy, since it is the basis of all the structures (sectoral, institution-al, territorial, social, economic and social). Formation of the branch structure takes place on the basis of the social division of labor; it reflects the current social distribution of econom-ic resources between different spheres of production and industries, allows the use of statis-tical data for qualitative and quantitative comparisons. Evaluation of the sectoral structure of regional economies to determine the contribution of each sector in the gross domestic product, identify cross-sectoral communication and proportion.
