Corrections to standard inflationary models induced by gauss-bonnet scalar

In this paper, we consider corrections to the parameters of standard models of cosmological inflation induced by the non-minimal coupling of the scalar field and the Gauss-Bonnet scalar. It is shown that this relationship has a weak effect on the background dynamics, but can significantly affect the characteristics of relic gravitational waves. The energy density of relic gravitational waves was also estimated and the possibility of their detection by advanced space detectors was considered.
