At the beginning of the XX century, Armenians betrayed Turkey for realizing their “Greater Armenia” dream. During the World War I, they are for Russia against the Ottomans and it caused them to move from the Eastern Anatolia. Armenians, who could not achieve their aspirations in Anatolia, moved to Western Azerbaijan and created a state in Western Azerbaijan with the support of Russia and other Christian countries, by forcing the Azerbaijanis to move from their native lands.
