Nervous system injury in patients having ixode tick borreliosis in acute disease stage

The analysis of neurologic manifestations was performed in 120 patients having acute ixode tick borreliosis in the setting of chronic opisthorchiasis and without it. Acute period of the tick infection was characterized by early neurologic manifestations (encephalopathy, vegetative and cerebellar injuries). Injured peripheral nervous system was observed in all patients.
