Special features of liver damage in infective endocarditis of injection drug addicts which were determined in 60 patients are presented in the article. Viral hepatites were diagnosed in 65% of infective endocarditis patients. Addition of viral hepatites caused relapsing infective endocarditis clinical course in 8% of patients.
