This article presents such theoretical concepts for determining the value of the authorized capital, such as property, equity and nominal. The procedure for its formation is revealed and problems are highlighted, related, in particular, to the minimum size of the authorized capital of a limited liability company established by civil law and its reduction, as well as the opinions of prominent civilists on this matter.
