It is relevant to almost all aspects of people's lives and activities, including criminal ones. Culture can act as a powerful barrier that prevents the emergence and spread of social evil, but "the objective analogue of each crime is a manifestation of extreme disrespect for public order in the fight for themselves against all others on the basis of a purely selfish calculation: what is more profitable"[3] in this current understanding, culture also plays a destructive role, showing a criminogenic factor. The criminal world creates its own culture. When the extent of its prevalence and role in social life are insignificant, this phenomenon is usually referred to as a criminal subculture.
