The paper presents the investigation results of the Shosseynoe-1 settlement in the Kaliningrad region located near the coastline of the Vistula Lagoon (Kaliningrad Bay) discovered by the Sambian expedition of the Institute of Archaeology, RAS in 2021. Two stages of this settlement existence, i.e. the 7th–4th centuries BC and the 4th/3rd–1st centuries BC, were singled out based on changes in ceramic forms and radiocarbon dating. Distinctive forms of the vessels were in use during the first stage with a clear influence of the Lusatian (Lausitz) culture. Cups with fluting ornament that have analogies in the Late Lusatian culture are the most numerous finds in the lower level of the occupation layer. During the subsequent stage the earlier culture assemblage was almost fully replaced by a new assemblage which, presumably, originated in the Pomeranian culture.
