This scientific article is dedicated to the study of factors influencing the visitation of cultural venues such as museums and galleries. The research identifies two main groups of barriers: practical (accessibility, price, limited free time) and psychocultural (destination image, cultural competence). The article emphasizes the importance of considering these factors when developing a marketing strategy for cultural tourism destinations.
