Cultivated areas of minor crops in peasant farms of the Simbirsk province in 1891-1915

The article studies the change of cultivating of minor crops in peasant farms of the Simbirsk province at the late XIX - early XX century. The author spells out what crops were in demand in the peasants' community, what causes determined it, and how their crops changed as time passed. The research data was revealed mainly on the basis of the analysis of official statistical data.
