Consequences of forest fires in Vologda Municipal District of Vologda Region

In the course of the work, an analysis of the sanitary condition of trees and the viability of undergrowth in forest areas affected by fires was carried out. An assessment of the specifics of the growth of woody undergrowth has been carried out, trends in the composition of the stand after fires have been identified, and characteristics of damaged areas have been given. An analysis of forest fire sites of various types was also performed based on data from forestry and field research in the Vologda Municipal District of the Vologda Region for the period from 2015 to 2024.
