Assessment procedures are concerned with authenticity, practicality, reliability, validity and feedback and are considered to be the main principles of assessment in foreign language teaching and learning. The main value of these aforementioned principles is to distinguish between the consequences of assessment and to analyze any problems that arise in the classroom between the teacher and the student. Since the assessment process affects both teachers and students, it is necessary to pay attention to assessment procedures when teaching a foreign language.
