The authors have proposed a complex of rehabilitative measures, used for treatment of 43 patients (50 calcanei) with severe comminuted fractures of calcaneus by the technique of transosseous osteosynthesis according to Ilizarov. The immediate results are considered to be good in 34 patients (79,1%), fair – in 8 (18,6%), poor – in 1 (2,3%). The long-term results are studied in 36 patients within the periods up to 7 years: in 29 (80,6%) out of them they are considered to be good (complete recovery of the lower limb function, stable gait, no pain in the foot while walking), in 7 (19,4%) – fair (minor pain and slightly marked edema of the foot after prolonged staying on the feet and carrying weights).
