The attempt is made to analyze the specifics of the development of society and the state in the postinformational era within the framework of the political science discourse. At the same time, attention is focused on the institutionalization of the digital culture of various groups of the population, primarily young people. The authors highlight new forms of communication between the population and the authorities, including the protest activity, which are equally manifested online and offline. The interrelation is traced between the processes of digitalization of politics, the basic characteristics of the digital culture of representatives of the youth, their choice of methods and means of upholding rights and freedoms at the present time, the vision of the image of the future socio-political structure on a national, regional, and global scale by generation Z. Network options for the political mobilization of young people update the search for adequate technologies of socialization of the new generation, which will stimulate, on the one hand, their innovative potential, and, on the other hand, maintain the thread of communication with their predecessors.
