Post-crisis service sector development in Saint-Petersburg in 2011–2012

The article analyses the structure and dynamics of service sector development in Saint-Petersburg in 2011–2012. Numerical comparison has revealed that under the financial crisis negative effects in 2008 the service sector is on the increase. This fact is stipulated by internal reserves of the economic sector as well as the ongoing sup porting governmental programmes for its development.
