Postmodernism as a current trend in culture

The article analyses the theories of postmodernism, underlines the main methodological line - critical attitude to unequivocal beliefs, estimates, values, methods of knowledge and truth search. It is stressed that postmodernism combines different, even opposite discourses, and pretends true judgements. The key provision of postmodernism is the interest to a microlevel of social interactions, subjective research of daily life.
