In article the Russian rating of higher education institutions “Expert RA” is considered. Its main indicators and method of its drawing up are analyzed. Rating indicators for Samara state technical university (SamGTU) by years are described. Mathematical models on the basis of production function in the form of Сobb-Douglas for SamGTU are made and the forecast is constructed.
