Construction of a mathematical model for identification of fish of the sturgeon family using linear programming

The article discusses a method for determining the species of fish of the sturgeon family, based on the use of mathematical modeling. Representatives of this family have different nutritional and biological values, which affects the pricing of products. In this regard, it is necessary to exclude falsification of fish products, which consists in replacing more expensive varieties of fish with less valuable ones. In this study, to identify sturgeon - Acipenseridae - we propose to use a mathematical model of linear programming, implemented in the MS Excel spreadsheet processor. The essence of the process is to systematize the key parameters and hit the check digits in the specified range, and the built-in function “SEARCH FOR SOLUTIONˮ easily optimizes the objective function that satisfies the initial conditions. The constructed model not only facilitates the identification of fish by families, but also automates this process.
