The author deals with post-secular culture in the light of the developments of multiple modernity theory by S. Eisenstadt. This theory is able to explain a number of inconsistencies and, at the same time, the desire to monopolize the only possible objective explanation of post-secularity within the framework of the Western trending scientific discourse. The author analyzes the religious aspect of modern cultural processes, including their comprehension in the works of S. Eisenstadt. In Western society in the last decades of the 20th century the process of transformation of religion/spirituality has intensified, many new religious movements (NRMs) appeared, among which the fast-growing areas of the New Age should be highlighted. On a broader plane, transhumanism begins to occupy a special place, in which, in addition to the scientific component, there is a religious basis that claims a monopoly in a changing world, and hence is related to the processes of post-secularization.
