Post-Soviet countries under WTO conditions: assessment of fulfillment of tariff obligations in agriculture

The article describes the tariff obligations on market access in the field of agriculture, adopted by the post-Soviet countries when joining the WTO and their implementation. In general, the countries of the post-Soviet space, members of the WTO, comply with tariff obligations on access to the agricultural market, since the average rates they apply for each commodity group are below the associated level. However, for certain types of products, the countries that joined the EAEU after accession to the WTO increased the rates of MFN import duties.
