The potential of module curriculum in CDIO standarts implementation

The article presents the author's approach to making up the curriculum for engineering students majoring in Metallurgy according to CDIO ideology, which includes the integrative educational pro-gram and differentiated modules of the curriculum in the context of a non-disciplinary way of its presentation. Besides, the article defines the advantages of the implementation of the module system in making up an integrated curriculum while organizing and running the educational process. For the purposeful formation of subject and personal competences of students the article offers to define basic competences formed within each module, as well as the competences maintained in the course of students'activity and considered to be basic for other modules too.
