The assessment of productivity and parameters of ecological plasticity of oats varieties by results of their test for fodder in the conditions of a northern forest-steppe zone of the Tyumen region for 2012-2014 is given. Four oats varieties which were tested on the predecessor of spring wheat were studied. The index of conditions of the environment was calculated using the method of S.A. Eberhart, W.A. Russell. Variability of the main indicators of varieties, productivity of green and dry forage were calculated using the method of B.A. Dospekhov, and also realization of potential of productivity of dry forage - by E.D. Nettevich’s technique. The indicator of intensity of varieties were calculated using the method of R.A. Udachin and A.P. Golovochenko, and their index of ecological plasticity - by A.A. Gryaznov’s technique. The variety Megion was characterized by smallest average duration of the period from young growth to a heading, and the varieties Megion and Otrada were characterized by the greatest height of plants and their leafing. Weak variability of duration of the period of vegetation from young growth to a heading was noted, average and strong variability of height of plants and leafing of plants was noted. Strong variability of an index of conditions of the environment, and also high potential of productivity of green forage of varieties (Chaliy, 25,9 t/hectare) and dry forage (Otrada, 7,70 t/hectare) is revealed. The variety Chaliy (17,1 t/hectare) was the best on average productivity of green forage, and dry forage - Otrada (5,29 t/hectare). The variety Talisman (78,5%) was characterized the largest size of realization of potential of productivity of dry forage. Strong variability of productivity of green and dry forage is noted. Two groups of varieties on intensity are allocated: extensive (Talisman) and intensive (Megion, Otrada, Chaliy). All oats varieties were characterized by low ecological plasticity which index was varied from 0,86 (Megion) to 1,08 (Otrada).
