The article considers the potential of the student scientific circle to study the problems of biomechanics of human movements in the development of research activities of students. Examples of research on the basics of biomechanics of human movements conducted by students in the classes of a scientific circle are presented. The conclusion is made about the effectiveness of the research work carried out, quantitative indicators, achievements of students and teachers of the department are highlighted.
