This study was focused on the desire to consult a specialist in mental health among young people. Investigated by a group of young men whose answer to the statement in the proposed questionnaire to identify autoaggressive patterns was positive. Our results conclusively demonstrate that the respondents have significantly higher suicidal potential. Suicidal thoughts in the study group discovered the 31,2% of the respondents against the 14,0% of the control. Frequency of depressive States characterized precisely studied a group of young men - 75,0%. Experienced frequent moments of despair - 47,9% of young men in the study group against 21,9% in the control group. Similar data were obtained in the study of similar groups of girls with a desire for access to a specialist in the field of mental health. This fact speaks in favor of a positive answer to this question is rather what is disturbing, often "premanifest" indicating a possible serious problem. This question, despite its seeming "lightness", it is appropriate to use in screening studies as suicidological in practice and in other studies of young boys and girls regarding their psycho-emotional state.
