The consumption of nutrition elements by sunflower varieties and hybrids cultivated in modal chernozem

The article gives the results of researches of 2008-2011 on consumption of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium by sunflower varieties and hybrids and on expenditure of these elements on formation of one tonne of seeds in modal chernozem. According to these results it was determined that nitrogen yield by the seed and vegetative mass of sunflower varieties and hybrids was 136.9-151.8 kg/hectares, phosphorus yield was 52.3-57.6 kg/hectares and potassium yield was 242.3-283.2 kg/hectares; 49.8-56.6 kg of nitrogen, 19.5-21.3 kg of phosphorus and 85.9-98.4 kg were spent on formation of 1t of seeds.
